
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience with Amada press brakes, Amada Turret, Haeger hardware insertion and Amada laser machines. Your responsibilities will include analyzing documentation such as blueprints, proposals, and specifications, developing the layout, tooling, and the method of manufacture for the components. In this role, you will be responsible for assigned projects for development and documentation of new and/or existing processes, equipment, and tooling while ensuring the highest quality, least costly manufacturing processes are followed. You may assume a project leadership role for one or more complex manufacturing engineering projects, as they are assigned. As a team member, you will apply engineering techniques to determine the best design to minimize labor, material, and overhead costs while working with fellow engineers to review form, fit, and function of product to assure manufacturability. Areas of expertise should be in Solidworks programming.
SUPERVISORY QUALIFICATIONS to include the ability to make decisions concerning the health, welfare and safety of employees based on company policies and procedures if applicable.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 3 years minimum experience utilizing AP100. SolidWorks Drawing and Modeling experienced required including sheet metal module.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Minimum Level B Math Testing is preferred, however some skills may be demonstrated in order to complete day-to-day operations.
