Accurate Metal Solutions, LLC. is a privately owned and operated custom sheet metal, plastics and machining fabricator, integrator and finisher with over 35 years of experience. Our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction is the driving force behind Accurate Metal Solutions, LLC. With over 600 employees, Accurate Metal Solutions, LLC. operates three manufacturing facilities, two in California and one in Nevada with a combined 260,000 square feet of manufacturing facilities. We have the capacity and flexibility to service our customer's production demands as well as our quick turn, prototyping capabilities, which is handled by our Metalurgency division. Operations Site Manager – this position reports to the COO/or General Manager. Manages all site operations activity in line with corporate operational goals. Common activities; implement and design operation functions (unless determined by corporate) oversees general operations of the site, geared toward streamlining, cost-efficient processes and procedures while maintaining safety and quality guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership and direction to the plant in the areas of operations, processing and packaging.
- Directs the overall activities of the manufacturing facility to ensure customer orders are received, scheduled, and produced at the lowest possible cost to meet the customer’s requirements while maintaining established safety and quality standards.
- Partners with Engineering and Quality to ensure that Standard Operating Procedures are developed, maintained and followed for all aspects of the business.
- Analyzes plant operations and key metrics to ensure that the facility maintains high quality and safety standards to continue to maintain our leadership position in the industry.
- Develops the organization through coaching, stretch objectives and appropriate feedback
Is responsible for expense management and control, as well as manufacturing productivity through our PPI/Lean enterprise initiatives.
- Cooperates in a cross-functional manner as a change agent with all departments within the Company.
- Engages in the typical responsibilities of a manager requiring planning, evaluating, organizing, integrating, and delegating.
- Provides management and leadership of employees directly or through supervisors to ensure effective selection, retention, development and performance management.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering or related manufacturing discipline preferred.
- 7 -10 years of total experience in progressive manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Proven ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs; ability to lead others through change.
- Strong team player and leader with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines.
- Ability to select, coach, develop, engage, and retain a team of employees.
- Creative, analytical problem solving skills.
- Ability to handle critical timelines and multi-task environment.
- Lean manufacturing experience and understanding preferred
- Experience in cGMP and FDA regulatory environments a plus
- Experience in Sheet Metal Manufacturing is a must
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and computer-based applications.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
